Task Management

Field work rarely follows a static plan, so tasks need to be easy to create, assign, and update from a phone. FastBuild gives supervisors a task list per site, with the ability to create a task, assign it to a specific crew member, set a priority and a due date, and attach a short description.

Each task moves through a defined workflow: to-do, in progress, review, and done. Workers update their tasks as they complete the work, and supervisors can see at a glance which work is moving and which work is stuck.

Tasks can be filtered by priority, status, and site, which keeps the list usable even when a company runs several projects at once. Overdue tasks are highlighted, and completed tasks feed directly into the daily report for that site, so the reporting layer and the task layer always agree.

Tasks that are no longer relevant can be deactivated instead of deleted, which preserves the history while keeping the active list clean.
