Construction Task Management
Keep field work moving with assignable tasks, priorities and a clear status workflow.
The Problem
Field work is coordinated verbally, so tasks fall through the cracks and supervisors cannot see what is actually moving.
The Outcome
FastBuild tasks are created, assigned, and tracked per site, with status, priority, and due dates that feed the daily report.
Construction task management is about keeping the work on a site moving: knowing what needs to be done, who is doing it, and whether it is actually getting done.
Without a task record, coordination happens verbally. The supervisor assigns work in the morning, and by the afternoon nobody can say with certainty which items are finished, which are blocked, and which were forgotten.
FastBuild gives each site a task list. A supervisor creates a task with a title, description, priority, and due date, and assigns it to a crew member. The worker updates the task as it moves through the workflow: to-do, in progress, review, done.
The task list can be filtered by status and priority, so a supervisor sees the open work first. Completed tasks appear in the site's daily report, connecting the task record to the project documentation.
Tasks that are no longer needed can be deactivated rather than deleted, preserving the history without cluttering the active list.
FastBuild supports this workflow with task management, construction sites, and daily reports.
