GPS Time Tracking for Construction Crews

GPS time tracking adds location to the attendance record. Instead of only asking when a worker checked in, it also records where the check-in happened, and validates that location against the site boundary.

A geofence is a virtual boundary around the job site, defined by a center point and a radius. When the worker's phone reports a check-in inside the geofence, the session is recorded as valid. When the check-in is outside the boundary, FastBuild records the session and flags it as a GPS exception so a manager can follow up.

The practical value is that the time record becomes evidence. If a worker claims hours at a site, the record shows the check-in time, the check-out time, and the distance from the site boundary at both moments. Disputes that used to require a supervisor's memory now have a data trail.
