Not everyone in a construction company needs access to everything. FastBuild's authorization model separates what each role can see and do: owners administer the company, managers run sites and teams, and employees manage their own attendance and tasks.
Company owners can create custom roles, copy an existing role and adjust it, and grant or revoke individual permissions. A custom role might give a site supervisor full control over tasks and attendance on their site while keeping payroll administration with the owner.
Permissions are enforced on the backend, not just hidden in the interface. When access is revoked or an employee is deactivated, the change takes effect immediately.
Every screen and action in FastBuild is governed by the same permission model, so the platform stays consistent as the company grows from a single crew to multiple crews and sites.
